Never heard of one of those Most cars have an emergency brake operated by a handle On most cars this operates ineffectively on the rear brakes, only a very few cars have ever operated the front brakes (which do most of the braking) via a cable What c 787 Posts #21 It is rather odd if I say I was doing great but last night where I parked, not even a slope, the EBrake stuck I don't get it haha Maybe the pumping is just feeding my paranoia but this thing is almost hit or miss According to my manual the EBrake should release when the car is put in either REVERSE or PARKHow difficult is it to fix a stuck ebrake?
If you press hard on the brake pedal the valve system allows pressure into the front of the rv and the rear of the servo at about 2/3 atm or 10 lbs/sq in When you release the brake the air pressure on the front of the 3 or 4 sq in diaphragm pushes with a force of approx 30 lbs to move the diaphragm into the valve I gave the plunger a pull but didn't get it to move (didn't pull hard enough) Being a Sunday and not wanting to break the switch I stuck a piece of 1mm thick card on the brake peddle at the point where the switch touches this cured the problem and has been there ever sinceMaterial engineering Materials innovation Connectivity and mobility Advanced technologies
